The SSAT2K (Symmetric Semi-Automatic Tuner 2K) has finally arrived. This unit is similar to the ST-1500 symmetric manual antenna tuner but is stepper motor controlled and accessible over the internet. The StepperControl interface unit provides a modern web based interface into the SSAT2K and provides complete control over 3 separate stepper motors for control over every component. This unit was specifically designed to provide robust high power operating capability with the ease of operation found in automatic tuners.
Switching bands with the SSAT2K and StepperControl unit is a snap. Just select from any number of saved memory locations and the StepperControl micro-processor will spin the stepper motors to an exact location.
While the ST1500 is a desktop model, designed to be tuned directly from your shack location, the SSAT2K is not limited to space at your operating location. The SSAT2K can be placed on the floor, in the basement, attic, another room or any location that is convenient to the routing of your transmission line.
The SSAT2K, like the ST1500, is a balanced line tuner designed for use with open wire or window line.
The SSAT2K utilizes our StepperControl interface for control of the stepper motors built into the unit. The StepperControl interface provides variable voltage control in order to ensure that the voltage at the end of a long run of CAT7 cables is the correct voltage required to drive the stepper motors.
