The SSAT2K-AW ( All Weather)  is a remotely mounted,  stepper motor controlled, broadcast quality, symmetric Network antenna tuner that is built for the most challenging antenna systems. This unit is designed to be mounted outside of the shack in a location that works best for the antenna system. This arrangement allows the user to run 50 ohm coax into the shack, while also taking advantage of the essentially lossless characteristics  of open wire line systems.

The SSAT2K-AW is controlled through a remote control located in the shack called the StepperControl interface. This control unit drives a set of stepper motors in the SSAT2K-AW to affect tuning of the antenna system. The StepperControl is completely configurable and can memorize hundreds of different band settings. This allows for quick and accurate band switching from the comfort of your shack.

With the StepperControl web based interface, the ATU2K-AW can be accessed remotely from any location with internet access. This allows for proper full remote station tuning opportunities.

Each SSAT2K-AW is uniquely designed to work with your antenna, feed line and operational bands. The SSAT2K-AW is not a one size fits all tuner and each tuner that leaves our shop has been customized to work within the requirements of your system. The SSAT2K-AW can be configured as a symmetric L-network or symmetric Pi-network. The SSA2K-AW contains no relays or other non-essential components. Each tuner is designed specifically to work within the constraints of your antenna. Detailed system and antenna analysis are performed on the configuration of each tuner in order to verify that the tuner will work for your particular needs. Basically each SSAT2K-AW that leaves the shop has been custom designed to guarantee that the tuner will work with your antenna system.
